Responsibilities
- Possess excellent command of both the source and target languages, including understanding idiomatic expressions and cultural nuances.
- Convert written material accurately, maintaining the original meaning, style, tone, and context.
- Conduct thorough research on the subject matter to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations.
- Review and edit translations for accuracy, consistency, and readability; proofread the final text to eliminate errors.
- Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree from any major
- Demonstrated high-level proficiency in Mandarin.
- Has experience as a translator in a corporate setting, preferably within manufacturing or trading industries.
- A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translating complex documents.
- Ability to understand and convey cultural nuances in translations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both the source and target languages.
