Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Review and verify financial transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Review the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations
- Provide guidance to the team and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry trends, and make recommendations for adjustments to accounting practices as necessary
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Requirements
- Graduated from Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- Min 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax codes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial model, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel
