Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework specific to the Indonesian securities market.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indonesian regulations, including those from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
- Conduct detailed risk assesments by analyzing documents, statistics, reports, and market trends, client transactions, etc.
- Preparing the reports to regulatory such as OJK, IDX, PPATK, etc.
- Update haircut and stock list margin from IDX to our system every month.
- Force sell the stock portfolio of clients who didn't settle on T+2, force sell on T+4, and make the letter for the clients prior to the execution.
- Propose stock haircut and trade limit raise to the BOD and create Risk Committee report for the BOD.
- Create SLIK reports and client transaction reports.
- Monitor regular and margin clients' transactions and handle negotiation transactions between brokers or internal parties.
- Review internal and external policies and ensure policies are implemented in the company.
- Responsible to all activities in Risk Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree from top a University in business, law, finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Active WPPE License (or higher) is a must.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, securities, brokerage or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, laws, and regulations governing the securities industry in Indonesia, including regulations set by OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) and IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange).
- Proven track record of developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, securities products, and trading activities.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess and analyze various types of risks, including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk.
- Leadership experience, including team and project management.
- Familiarity with risk management software, data analytics tools, and technological solutions used in risk assessment and monitoring processes.
- Fluent in english (verbal & writing).
- Able to operate MS Office software and create SLIK reports and client transaction reports
